Miss Candy Mago – If you stop dreaming you stop living

Tell us briefly about who you are, and where you are from and we’d really like to know your age too.

I was born in Wolfen, Germany and Im living in Halle Saale, Germany, right now. My age, huh? 25.

Tell us, what made you think like … “hmm, I want to be a model” and when and why did this interest of yours emerge? Have you been interested in photography from childhood?

Oh I have been interested in Photography forever! I made an apprenticeship in Graphic/ Design so I’ve learnt to use a Reflex camera. And no, at first I didn’t want to be a model, just taking photos. I discovered Cosplay and began to sew costumes and dresses, I became a model. I always loved the vintage fashion and when I visited London last year, I’ve bought my first dresses at Collectif. I wanted to be in front of the camera to show my love for the Vintage way of life. So I did.

What’s your motto or life advice that you life by?

Never stop dreaming. If you stop dreaming you stop living. I never want to be one of those people who just wake up and go to work.

I don’t want my life to become routine. I except a lot more from living on this planet. I have my dreams and I work hard so that one day they come true. You always need something to work for, to live for. An aspiration.

Do you have any advice as to how to ensure good pictures every time?

Just have fun! Be yourself. You can just get good results if you are feeling comfortable, so don’t disguise yourself.

What is a Pinup Girl to you? Describe to us the essence of Pinup Modelling.

A Pin Up girl is a girl who is fun-loving and who loves her body, no matter what shape. Being a pin up girl isn’t just wearing a dress or lingerie and being photographed. It is a way of life. It is a attitude to life. The good thing in Pin Up Modelling is that no one forces you to be skinny and tall. All sizes and shapes are welcome.
