Tell us briefly about who you are, and where you are from and we really want to know the story of miss Katt.
Hello, I am Miss Katt, an alternative model. I live in Glasgow, Scotland however I’m initially from a small town in Buckinghamshire. I’m a crazy horse lady and animal lover in general and I adore all things unique, creative and outside the box.
Tell us, what made you think like… “hmm, I want to be a model” and when and why did this interest of yours emerge? Have you been interested in photography from childhood?
I’ve always loved costumes, Halloween is my Christmas. When I was little i ALWAYS posed for the camera but liked to take photos too. I got bullied very very badly through school for my looks and it made me really self conscious. I turned my costume addiction into a hobby after learning about cosplay and attending large conventions. It served as an escape from the normal vile things I received normally and became someone who received compliments and had people admire my work. My costumes got more and more extravagant and I’d have hundreds of photos, TV interviews etc. taken a day when at the conventions so it taught me to pose like a boss! I really loved it all. I then went on to study photography and would model for my class mates and it’s just snow balled from there!
How did you feel when you did your first ever fashion show or photo shoot?
My first ever proper photo shoot was with my (still) best friend Lauren in college, I had red lips and short curled hair. I remember walking from the bathrooms after doing my hair and makeup and having someone tell me I looked a bit like the idol Dita Von Teese, I felt absolutely incredible! I still have the feeling every shoot when I’m glammed up and ready to go, I’m very energetic!
Who was your role model as a child an how did that help in being a model?
My role model as a child was actually the singer Amy Lee from Evanescence and just about any girl in a Marilyn Manson video. I remember watching the music videos as a kid on Kerrang and just loved how they would all look with the big dogs, quirky props and the classy but seductive look with not a drop of a tan in sight.
What beauty tips do you swear by?
Good eyebrows! They can make or break your entire look. I think eyebrows are so so important!
What’s your motto or life advice that you life by?
Life advice wise is I wouldn’t believe anything that bullies say. Find yourself and love yourself. I live by a few motto’s too, but my favorites has to be Sharon needles’s one…
“when in doubt, freak them out”
What best describes the alternative subcultures in your part of the world? Are those accepted ways of living where you’re from?
Amazing! They’re all totally accepted with big open warm Scottish arms. Glasgow is home to many cabaret clubs, alternative clubs and just has a large volume of alternative people in general. There’s a big tattoo, pinup and burlesque culture here, with a fair few clubs devoting nights to swing classes and rockabilly nights. Glasgow has a whole variety of vintage markets, 1950’s themed salons specializing in pinup hair and makeup, it really is great.
A desolate island and a boat without gas… oops… Who do you want to be rescued by and why just that person?
Brendon Urie. Shove him in some leopard pants and call him Tarzan, I’ll be the damsel in distress! How could I pass that opportunity up!?
What is a Pinup Girl to you? Describe to us the essence of Pinup Modelling.
A pinup girl to me is someone who not only has the styling and the look but radiates the confidence of those ladies then. That and a woman who embraces her figure for every curve that it’s worth. That and i just adore the mix of sultry adorableness. I’m an absolute Minx.

Where can we get to see you in the near future? You got any Magazine Photo Shoots planned?
I have just recently been in Twisted Edge magazine and also signed to The Twisted Agency. We have a fantastic very driven area manager and model, Gary Cassidy who I’ve had the pleasure of working with on shoots a couple of times now, I believe 2015 is going to a big year for not only Miss Katt but the agency too. A lady never gives away all her secrets but there is mention of some very very interesting locations between myself and the very talented smcgphotography! And mermaids. That’s all i can say for now ;)
